Schedule of His Holiness the Dalai Lama

June 28, 2017: Arrival in Leh, Ladakh at Kushok Bakhula Rinpoche Airport.

July 6, 2017: Long Life Offering Ceremony in Leh, Ladakh, J&K, India

His Holiness will be offered a long life ceremony in the morning organized by the Tibetan Community of Ladakh at Shewatsel Teaching Ground.

July 10, 2017: Closing Ceremony of Yarcho Chenmo in Diskit, Nubra, J&K, India

His Holiness will participate in the closing ceremony of the Yarcho Chenmo in the afternoon at Diskit Monastery.

July 11 – 13, 2017:Teaching in Diskit, Nubra, J&K, India

On the mornings of July 11 and 12, His Holiness will give teachings on Kamalashila’s The Middle States of Meditation (gomrim barpa) and Gyalsey Thokme Sangpo’s Thirty-Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva (laklen sodunma) at Diskit Monastery. On July 13 morning, His Holiness will confer a long life empowerment and be offered a long life ceremony at the Diskit Photang.

July 16 – 18, 2017: Teaching in Padum, Zanskar, J&K, India

On July 16 and 17 mornings, His Holiness will give teachings on Shantideva’s A Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life (chodjug). On July 18 morning, His Holiness will confer a 1000-Armed Avalokiteshvera Initiation (chenresig chaktong wang).

July 28 – 30, 2017:Teaching in Leh, Ladakh, J&K, India

On July 28 and 29 mornings, His Holiness will give teachings on Shantideva’s A Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life (chodjug) at Shewatsel Teaching Ground. On July 30 morning, His Holiness will confer an Avalokiteshvera Initiation (chenresig nyansong kundol).
