BRIEFING: Welcome to inner voyage into the realms of spirituality, an inward journey that will awaken the seed of Bodhichitta, the Buddha nature: an inherent quality in every sentient being, realization of which will led you to the ultimate liberation of yourself.This divine tour is a window into the esoteric world of Tibetan Buddhism: a lifetime opportunity to receive a personal blessings from His Holiness the Dalai Lama, guided pilgrimage with experienced Buddhist masters to the sacred Buddhist sites in and around Dharamsala; introduction on mindful meditation; partaking in Green Tara Puja for removing any obstacle in your life; participation in Chod prayer session, a tantric ritual for cutting through one’s ego and we assist you in your search for inner peace, expand your mental horizon and its wellbeing. The tour also incorporates a private consultation with Tibetan Amchi, Tibetan traditional doctor and Tibetan Astrologer (on your own accord) with a brief introduction to the Tibetan medical & Astra system and its practice. Tibetan medicine is a holistic approach to your health and life which emphasis on the balance of elements within you.

YOUR DAILY ROUTINE:We will keep our schedule relatively flexible to accommodate your immediate needs. However, we will still follow a lenient program as detailed below:

  • Waking up to the hot steaming cup of cleansing Tibetan herbal tea will invigorate your mind and generate positive energy.
  • Sitting Meditation at dawn to revitalize your mind and body throughout the day and calm down your chattering mind. You also have an option to combine the practice with daily morning puja if you wish.
  • Walking meditation around the Dalai Lama’s temple and residence. The circumambulation or kora is an age-old religious tradition followed by the Tibetan. Circumambulation is done to cleanse the bodily defilement. It is also to pay your reverence to the sacred place.
  •  Introduction to Buddhism by Geshe A scholar on Tibetan buddhism
  • Green Tara Puja: This prayer is done to remove any obstacles in your life, be it spiritual or mundane. Participation in these rituals may benefit you from clearing the obstacles that deters you from achieving success.
  • Private consultation with Tibetan Amchi: Tibetan medicine is a holistic approach to one’s health which emphasis on the balance of element within you. It employs the techniques like pulse reading, urinalysis, dietary and habitual modification. Their medicines mainly comprises of herbs grown in the high Himalayan region. The most striking feature of the Tibetan medicine is the absence of side effect. Tibetan medicine is gaining worldwide attention especially from the West.

Holy sites to be visited:

  • Namgyal Monastery: Overlooking the mountain ranges of Dhauladhar, the Namgyal Monastery is situated within the Tsuglagkhang complex. This complex also is the proud home to the residence of Dalai Lama, among various other shrines, temples, bookstores, souvenir shops etc.
  • Tsuglagkhang: Tsuglagkhang is the place where the Dalai Lama resides. It is one of the most significant places of worship which attracts devotees from all over the world and serve tourists as well.• Gyuto Tantric Monastery was established for the preservation and promotion of the tradition of tantric teachings of the great Teacher Tsongkhapa,
  • Dolma Ling Nunnery and Institute of Buddhist Dialectics is a non-sectarian nunnery located in the Kangra valley near          Dharamsala, northern India. The large campus is home to about 250 nuns. Officially inaugurated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on December 8, 2005, the nunnery is fully funded by the Tibetan Nuns Project and was the first institute dedicated specifically to higher Buddhist education for Tibetan Buddhist nuns from all traditions.
  • Norbulingka Tibetan Institute of culture: Norbulingka Institute, founded in 1988 by Kelsang and Kim Yeshi at Sidhpur, near Dharamshala is dedicated to the preservation of the Tibetan culture in its literary and artistic forms.
  • Tibetan Library: The Library of Tibetan Works and Archives is a Tibetan library in Dharamshala, India. The library was founded by Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama on 11 June 1970, and is considered one of the most important centre for research on Tibetan Buddhist and culture.
  • Men-Tsee- Khang: Men-Tse –Khang formally also known as Tibetan Medical and Astro Institute), is a charitable institution based in Dharamsala, India. The institute was founded by the 13 th Dalai Lama in Lhasa in 1916. In the aftermath of the Chinese occupation of Tibet, 14 th Dalai Lam came to India where he reestablished the institution in 1961 with the mission of to promote and practice Tibetan medicine as well as Tibetan astronomy and astrology,to provide healthcare and social service to people regardless of caste, color or creed, to provide health care based on service orientation.
  • The Tibet Museum of the Department of Information and International Relations, Central Tibetan Administration, was established in 1998 with the purpose to document, preserve, research, exhibit and educate Tibetans and non-Tibetans on all matters related to Tibet’s history, culture and present situation.The Tibet Museum is more than a space for exhibitions, installations and lectures. It also provides a platform for educational activities relating to Tibetan history – through in-house activities and special events, traveling museum kits, catalogs, and various other publications.

Tour Plan

Day 1 : Arrive in Delhi

Arrival at Indra Gandi International Airport and our representative will escort to hotel and check into respective hotel.

Please note: If you arrive in Delhi before 8h:00 on June 21 at, please inform us as there will be additional expenses in Delhi because the hotel does not allow early check-in

DAY 2 : DHARAMSHALA TO DELHI

  • Early Breakfast Drive to airport and fly to Dharamshala, after arrival at Gaggle airport drive to Mcleod Ganj and check into hotel

DAY 3 : DHARAMSHALA

DAY 8 : McLeod Ganj: DHARAMSHALA

Day 9 : DHARAMSALA

Day 10 : DHARAMSHALA - DELHI

  • After breakfast transfer to airport and fly to Delhi
