this tour and we shall journey ahead for a meaningful adventure.The words cannot adjust with the beauty of Ladakh as it sits peacefully at an altitude of 3,500 meters. It is embroidered with heaps of snow-capped mountains, valleys that sleep quietly and lakes that can leave you mesmerised. Amidst all these beauty, you are setting forth on a journey where you can fetch tranquility and peace. Apart from visiting five major monasteries in Ladakh, you will have the opportunity to visit oracle and attend chod prayer session with yogi. The
oracles attend patients and cure their ailments. They also predict auspicious time for various
events in one’s life. Chod literally means “cutting through”. It cuts through hindrances and
obstacles. Chod healing includes numerous healing rituals and practices to cure illnesses,
promote good health and remove obstacles. Even though the topsy-turvy road of Dharamsala might tire you but the experiences that you will count is worth more than that. While you are there, you will receive the opportunity to attend His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s teaching and visit monasteries.On the top of that, you will explore
TIPA (Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts) and Norbulingka.

Itinerary

Day 1: 1st March 2010-Arrive in Delhi

• Arrival at Indra Gandi International Airport and our representative will escort to hotel and check into respective hotel.
• If you prefer to arrive a day early (Before 11:00 am IST), we wil arrange the extra night.

Day 2: 2nd March 2020 -DELHI - LEH BY FLIGHT

• After an early breakfast, you are transferred to the domestic airport for your flight to Leh Ladakh (GoAir Flight 715: 8:35 AM- 9:55 AM)
• This must be one of the most sensational flights in the world. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif.
• Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. You would take a little time to settle in and acclimatize since you have gone from a relatively low elevation in New Delhi to over 11,000 feet! You’ll spend the day acclimatizing and enjoying the beautiful landscapes.
• Evening brief introductory meeting with tour Escort and your fellow travellers.

Day 3: 3rd March 2020Prayer flag ceremony - Visit to Thiksey & Hemis monastery - Oracle healing session

• Our morning starts with a brewing cup of Tibetan medicinal herbal tea, followed by prayer and meditation for 45 minutes from 7:30 AM. Thereafter we’ll proceed for breakfast.
• After the auspicious prayer flag ceremony in the morning, you will visit Thiksey monastery,
located on a hilltop at a distance of 21 km east of Leh. Later you will drive towards Hemis
monastery which existed before the 11th century.
In evening oracle healing session will take place a Choglamsar Tibetan Refugee camp.
• Overnight stay at Leh

Day 4: 4th March 2020 -Oracle monastery festival (Stok guru tsechu)

• Our morning starts with a brewing cup of Tibetan medicinal herbal tea, followed by prayer and meditation for 45 minutes from 7:30 AM. Thereafter we’ll proceed for breakfast.
• On this day, you will witness Stok Guru Tsechu, which is held in the first month of Tibetan lunar
calendar. It takes place at Gurphung Gonpa in Stok. Sacred mask dances are performed by the
monks. The oracles make predictions for the year ahead which are heeded by the villagers.
• Overnight stay at Leh

Day 5: 5th March 2020Visit to Alchi and liker monastery – Later chod prayer session

• Our morning starts with a brewing cup of Tibetan medicinal herbal tea, followed by prayer and meditation for 45 minutes from 7:30 AM. Thereafter we’ll proceed for breakfast.
• You will visit Alchi monastery which is widely believed as the very first Buddhist temple in Leh
Ladakh. The fundamental reason of Alchi Choskor survival is that Alchi Choskhor is enclosed
by mud-brick wall and looks simple that it is hardly distinguishable from the ordinary houses of
Alchi village. Because of its exterior humble appearance, Alchi escaped the attention of invaders
from neighboring regions that desecrated and plundered monasteries that were located on the
Leh-Srinagar trade route.
• On the way, you will also visit Liker monastery which is situated on a little hill in the valley. It
belongs to the  Gelugpa  sect of Tibetan Buddhism and was established in 1065 by Lama Duwang
Chosje, under the command of the fifth king of Ladakh,  Lhachen Gyalpo . 
In the evening chod prayer session will be held with Yogi at Tibetan Monastery at Choglamsar.

Day 6: 6th March 2020 - Leh – Jammu by flight and drive to Dharamshala

• Early Breakfast transfer to Leh airport and fly to Jammu
• After arrival at Jammu airport drive to Dharamshala by road
•After arrival at Dharamsala airport drive to Mcleod Ganj and check into hotel
• Overnight stay at Mcleod Ganj

Day 7: 7th March 2020 - Visit to Mentsekhang, talk & consultation with Tibetan doctor (Amchi), and Tibetan therapy session

• Morning starts at 7:00am with brewing cup of Tibetan medicinal herbal tea, followed by walking tour or circumambulation (Kora) of Dalai Lama’s residence at McLeod Ganj and Visit to Tsuglag Khang (Dalai Lama temple)
• After breakfast, While you visit Mentsekhang (Tibetan Medical and Astro-science institute), you can consulta
Tibetan doctor. Historically, Men-Tsee-Khang was established in 1916 by the 13 Dalai Lama in
Lhasa, Tibet.  In 1959 the People Republic of China invaded Tibet and His Holiness the 14th
Dalai Lama fled to India followed by 80,000 Tibetans. Thus, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama
re-established Men-Tsee-Khang, Tibetan Medical and Astro. Institute in Dharamsala on 23
March, 1961.
• In the evening you will join a Tibetan therapy sessionMild therapy is an effective method to strengthen, rejuvenate and keep energies of body balancing the three humors (Three Nyes- pa). It is very much effective for relaxation, flexibility of rigid parts, opening channels (tendons, ligaments, nerves), gives complexion and luster to the body and smoothening the skin.

Day 8: 8th March 2020 -Tibetan culture tour (Visit to TIPA, NORBULINGKA)

• Morning starts at 7:00am with brewing cup of Tibetan medicinal herbal tea, followed by walking tour or circumambulation (Kora) of Dalai Lama’s residence at McLeod Ganj and Visit to Tsuglag Khang (Dalai Lama temple)
• This day will be an interesting one as you will visit TIPA (Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts).
• You will later explore Norbulingka which is the cultural centre that aims to preserve and
promote Tibetan traditional handicrafts and artworks.
• Overnight stay at Mcleod Ganj
• Breakfast and Dinner provided(B+D)

Day 9: 9th March 2020- Morning teaching by His Holiness and then pilgrimage to monasteries

• In the morning you will attend the precious teaching by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on Jataka Tales and later
you will pilgrimage to monasteries.
• Pilgrimage to Nachung monastery. Nechung Gompa or Nechung Chok, is the seat of the State Oracle of Tibet.
• Pilgrimage to Tschokling and Ganden nunnery
• Evening participate in Green Tara Puja, which helps one in disturbing mind desiring to stay in peace or solace.
• Overnight stay at Mcleod Ganj

Day 10: 10th March 2020Dharamshala - Amritsar- Delhi

• Early breakfast
• Drive to Amritsar and You will visit Harmandir Sahib which is a  Gurdwara  located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab. It is
the prominent pilgrimage site of Sikhism. It is usually called the Golden Temple in English since
it is plated with gold.
• Evening flight to Delhi
• After arrival at Delhi check into hotel
• After dinner late night transfer to airport and fly back to your home.
