BRIEFING:Our Journey will begin with the magnificent Ganga Arti in the ancient town of Varanasi. You will get to witness the world-known phenomenon of sacred fire ritual offered to the holy Ganga river as the sun sets behind the horizon. From there, we will take our spiritual expedition to Bodhgaya and Sarnath. You will get to learn the secrets of Buddhism, explore the ancient Stupas and meditate in the land of Buddha’s First-Teaching.
Next, you will be attending the teaching of His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Bodhgaya in December 2022. The venue will be at the Kalachakra Teaching Ground at Bodhgaya. After the teaching pilgrimage to Nalanda and Rajgir (Velture peak) , our journey will head towards its end as we travel to Patna to catch a flight to Delhi. In Delhi, we will do some local sightseeing before you head back to your home with memories enriched of a beautiful journey.

Tour Plan
DAY 1: DELHI
- Arrival at Indra Gandi International Airport and check into respective hotel.
- If you prefer to arrive a day early (Before 11:00 am IST), we will arrange the extra night.

DAY 2: DELHI - PATNA
- After breakfast transfer to airport and fly to Patna
- Drive to Bodhgaya from Patna 3-4 Hour and after arrival check into hotel.

DAY 3: BODHGAYA
- Breakfast
- Registration for teaching
- After the registration walking tour or circumambulation of Mahabodhi Temple.
- After Lunch introduction on Buddhism by Geshe la followed by tea break.

DAY 4 - 6: BODHGAYA - THREE DAYS TEACHING
- Three days teaching of His Holiness the Dalai Lama On December 29 and 30 mornings, His Holiness will give teachings on Nagarjuna’s In Praise of Dhammadhatu (choying toepa). On December 31 morning, His Holiness will confer the Manjushri Empowerment (jamphel yang jenang).

DAY 7: BODHGAYA
- His Holiness the Dalai Lama will attend a Long Life Prayer offered to him in the morning at the Kalachakra Teaching Ground.

DAY 8 : BODHGAYA
- Pilgrimage to Mahakala Cave Sujata Temple
- We all know that Lord Buddha received enlightenment under the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya. But before that he did severe penance in the Mahakala (or Dungeshwari) Caves.
- He experimented with various things including severe self mortification and penance before reaching enlightenment.
- Where he almost died had it not been for the rice porridge or Kheer fed to him by a lady named Sujata from a nearby villages. A temple has been dedicated to her in the village which depicts the story ,There are various tableaus depicting the story in the temple.

DAY 09:BODHGAYA - VARANASI
- After breakfast drive to Varanasi
- After arrival at Varanasi check into the hotel.
- Eyewitness the evening Ganga Arti; one of the five rituals performed for the worship of sacred river Ganges
- Witness the rituals performed by local Brahmins and sadhus, devotees walking down to the Ghats to offer their prayers to the Mother Ganges.

DAY 10: VARANASI
- After breakfast enjoy a boat ride along the sacred river and bask in the stunning sceneries of the city and its vibrant cityscapes
- Explore the Sarnath; an important Buddhist pilgrim spot, where Buddha made his first sermon after getting enlightenment.
- Visit Temples, stupas and monuments, famous tourist attraction and pilgrim spots.
- Listen to heartwarming stories of the around famous temples, these stories will help you understand the Sarnath and the life here.
